Welcome to Signature Service PA. By using this website or booking an online notarization appointment, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. General Information

Signature Service PA provides Remote Online Notarization (“RON”) services in accordance with Pennsylvania law. All services are performed by a Pennsylvania-commissioned Notary Public physically located in Pennsylvania at the time of notarization.

2. Eligibility to Use Services

To use our services, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Possess a valid government-issued photo ID
• Have a device capable of video communication
• Have a stable internet connection
• Be legally authorized to sign the document

If you do not meet these requirements, the notarization cannot proceed.

3. Service Fees

All pricing is clearly displayed prior to booking and includes Pennsylvania’s state-regulated notarial fee of $5 per act. Remaining fees reflect online service, technology, and scheduling costs.

Payment is required at the time of booking.
Prices may be updated at any time.

4. Identity Verification

You must complete all identity verification steps required by the RON platform, including:

• Credential analysis
• Knowledge-based authentication (KBA), if applicable
• Audio-video identity confirmation

Failure to pass identity verification will result in cancellation of the session.
Platform verification fees are non-refundable.

5. Appointment Expectations

You must:

• Join the session on time
• Have your document ready (unsigned)
• Use a working device with camera and microphone
• Be in a quiet, private space

If technical issues prevent the notarization from being completed, you may be asked to reschedule.

6. Missed & Late Appointments

Appointments are considered missed if you do not join within 10 minutes of your scheduled time. Missed appointments are non-refundable.

7. Rescheduling

You may reschedule once at no additional charge if done before the appointment starts. Additional rescheduling may require a new booking.

8. Cancellations & Refunds

Refunds are issued only if:

• The notarization has not been completed, and
• The document is eligible for notarization, and
• You passed identity verification

Refunds are not issued for:

• Completed notarizations
• Rush fees
• After-hours fees
• Identity verification failures
• Platform processing fees
• Missed appointments

9. Refusal of Notarization

The notary must refuse service if:

• Identity cannot be verified
• The signer appears coerced, unaware, or unwilling
• The document is incomplete or contains blanks
• The transaction appears fraudulent or unlawful

This is required by Pennsylvania law.

10. Document Validity

Signature Service PA is not responsible for how third parties interpret or accept your notarized document. It is the signer’s responsibility to confirm that Remote Online Notarization is accepted by the receiving party.

11. Website Content

All content on this website—including text, graphics, logos, and information—is the property of Signature Service PA and may not be copied or used without permission.

12. Limitation of Liability

Signature Service PA is not liable for:

• Rejection of documents by third parties
• Technical failures
• User error
• Damages resulting from misuse of the website or services

Our liability is limited to the total amount paid for the notarization.
