Identity Verification Requirements
All signers must complete the required identity verification steps before a notarization can occur. You must provide:
• A valid government-issued photo ID
• A clear webcam image for comparison
• Knowledge-based authentication (KBA), if required
If your identity cannot be verified, the notarization cannot proceed.
Platform identity verification fees are non-refundable.
Document Requirements
Please upload a clear, complete, and unsigned copy of your document before the session.
Documents we cannot notarize online include:
• Vital records (birth, marriage, death certificates)
• Court-issued documents requiring in-person notarization
• Documents intended for countries that do not accept online notarization
If a document cannot legally be notarized online, you will be notified before the session.
Witness Policy
If your document requires witnesses:
• You may provide your own witnesses
• Or I may provide platform witnesses when available
You must notify me before your appointment if witnesses are needed.
Cancellation Policy
Appointments may be canceled up to 12 hours before the scheduled session for a full refund of the service fee (excluding platform verification fees).
Cancellations made within 12 hours may not be eligible for a refund.
Rescheduling Policy
You may reschedule your appointment once at no additional cost if done before your session begins.
Repeated rescheduling may require booking a new appointment.
Refund Policy
Refunds are available only if:
• The notarization has not been completed, and
• Identity verification was successful, and
• The document is eligible for notarization
Refunds are not available for:
• Completed notarizations
• Rush fees
• After-hours fees
• Identity verification failures
• Missed appointments
• Platform processing fees
Missed Appointment / Late Policy
If you do not join the session within 10 minutes of the scheduled start time, the appointment will be considered missed and must be rebooked. Missed appointments are non-refundable.
If you expect to be late, please contact me as soon as possible to determine whether rescheduling is available.
Technology Requirements
Clients must have:
• A computer or mobile device with a working camera and microphone
• A stable internet connection
• A supported browser (Chrome recommended)
If the session cannot be completed due to your device or connection issues, you may need to reschedule. Additional fees may apply if a new session is required.
Refusal of Notarization
State law requires notaries to refuse a notarization if:
• The signer cannot prove identity
• The signer appears unwilling, coerced, or unaware
• The document is incomplete or contains blanks
• The notary suspects fraud or illegal activity
In these cases, the session will be terminated, and a refund may not be issued.
Payment & Billing
Payment is required at the time of booking.
Service fees cover:
• Technology and platform costs
• Secure identity verification
• Online session hosting
• Digital document delivery
PA notarial act fees ($5 per notarization) are included within the total service price.
All payments are processed securely through our booking system.
Platform or Technical Failure
If the RON platform experiences an outage or failure that is not caused by the client, a complimentary reschedule will be offered.
If the notarization cannot be completed after multiple attempts, a partial or full refund may be issued at the notary’s discretion (excluding identity verification fees).
